Also I like the non-semi active suspension better since it's having better upgrade options. One can safely go from the 21/18" on the SAR to a 19/17" without upsetting geometry/trail. Just like going from 19" ti 17" on the SAS. But going from 21" to 17" on the SAR will need offset yokes or fork bottom end.

V-Twins I have owned. Suzuki DL-1000, Honda RC51, KTM 990, SMR, and KTM 1290 Superduke R. I was a little disappointed with the KTM 990 engine. It was much newer than my RC51 but the RC51 was a stronger motor. Not so with the 1290. A stock 1290 is a monster and with a Power Commander, a full exhaust, and a custom dyno tune even crazier.
